
Hagen Caldwell is a musician and visual
artist. After graduating high school he traveled
to Asia for 9 months. This included
studying Chi Kung at the Beijing Hospital in
China. He was part of a film production team
in the northern US and Canada and filmed
backcountry snow sports. He has played
music with many bands including an Afro
Pop Ensemble and traveled to India and New
Zealand with Rapsody. Hagan is currently a
senior at Colorado University at Denver
majoring in International Business with a
minor in Multimedia.
Gabriel Cannon is an outdoor educator, a
videographer, and a musician. With years of
experience working with high-risk urban
youth in the Chicago area and an undergraduate
degree in Human Development and
Adventure Education, Gabriel is deeply
engaged in sharing the stories and practices
of cross- cultural initiations. Gabriel has
recently returned from living and working
alongside the Maasai people in Kenya, Africa.
He was fully engaged in their daily life and
rituals, while creating a school and building
an eco lodge.
Meagan Chandler is a vocalist, expressive
arts educator, and ethnic performance art
alchemist. Her pursuits in music, movement,
creativity, and service in community have
taken her to New Zealand, India, Japan,
Spain, and Morocco. She is dedicated to
using the voice and song for full creative
expression. Meagan currently works as a professional
performer and recording artist
along with offering therapeutic and creative
voice sessions with youth and adults across
the United States.
Jonathan Davis is an arts educator who has
been living and working in Boulder, Colorado
for the last 7 years. Since graduating from
Colorado College with a B.A. in Theatre and
Dance, Jonathon has worked in a variety
of educational settings as a dancer, actor,
musician, and director. He is the co-founder
and former co-director of Express Your Self
dance studio, where he taught creative
dance for kids of all ages. Jonathan’s primary
goal is to enliven the next generation of
leaders through embodied creativity and
inspired self-expression. He holds a K-12
teaching certificate in theater and drama.
Ramon Gabrieloff-Parish is an interdisciplinary
teacher working with at risk youth in the
mountains of Colorado. He is a poet and
astronaut of the inner. He holds a BA in History
and Philosophy from Colorado College. He is
currently seeking certification and Masters
degree in Consciousness Studies. Ramon is a
dedicated husband and fathers three, wide eyed
little ones.

Jennie Gershater, MA, CMT is a Somatic
Psychotherapist. She has had a private
practice as a massage therapist for the last
ten years. Jennie works with people at life’s
two major transitions: birth and death. She
works as a birth and post-partum doula,
assisting families to transition into parenthood
and she also guides families facing terminal
illnesses. Jennie integrates dance and
creative arts into her current work with at-risk
Latino youth.
Rina Kedemworks and lives in Israel with
the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies.
She currently coordinates and manages
Jewish- Arab environmental youth programs
in Israel and Jordan, working both on the
grass roots level and with policy makers
in Israel. For the past six years, her varied
background includes working with youth,
environmental leadership, and building
Jewish- Arab relationships. Rina has counseled
troubled youth, trained and supervised
teams of outdoor educators and backpacking
leaders, facilitated conflict resolution
with people of diverse cultures in Ecovillages
across the planet, and served on
the planning committee of Camp Tawonga’s
peacemakers program.
Taliza Mizrahi is a professional Hip Hop
dancer. She spent 2002-2006 dancing with
top Hip Hop artists throughout the L.A. area,
as well as developing her university’s Hip
Hop dance team. Taliza is a graduating member
of the second class of Soka University
of America, an international school based
on Buddhist principles. She developed the
S GI Buddhist Youth Division in Colorado,
as well as a Hip Hop dance based youth
empowerment program called “Dancers
for Peace.” She currently serves as a
mentor for young women across the nation,
teaches positive Hip Hop classes to young
women locally, and is a bilingual youth
leader working with hundreds of youth in
the metro- Denver area.
